Google Review "Knee Pain"
I first saw Gary last year for a consultation regarding the arthritis in my knees with a view to having a hyaluronic acid injection. Gary was extremely knowledgeable and went through all the options before suggesting which would be the best option for me. My first injection provided excellent relief so will continue to have these done all the time I am getting months of relief with them. It is also good to know that once I am no longer getting benefit from these injections there are other options to try before having to undergo a knee replacement.

How Our Tunbridge Wells Chiropractors Can Help
At Vale health clinic, our skilled chiropractors specialise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal issues. From poor posture and lower back pain to leg discomfort, neck stiffness, headaches, migraines, and sports-related injuries, we’re here to help you move and feel better.
Rather than simply addressing the symptoms, our goal is to uncover and correct the underlying cause—helping to prevent future flare-ups and keep you feeling your best. Every treatment approach we use is grounded in the latest medical research, evidence-based best practices, and years of hands-on clinical experience.
All of our chiropractors are fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), ensuring you receive safe, professional, and effective care every time you visit.
What Happens During Your First Visit
During your initial appointment, your physiotherapist will take time to understand your current issue and how it affects your daily life and activities. They’ll also ask about any previous injuries, your general health, and your personal goals for recovery or performance.
A thorough physical assessment will then be carried out to identify which structures are causing your pain and what underlying factors — such as muscle weakness, poor movement patterns, or biomechanical imbalances — may be contributing to the problem.
After the assessment, your physiotherapist will discuss their findings with you and outline treatment options designed to help you achieve your specific goals. Your treatment plan will be tailored to your needs, ensuring it’s both effective and achievable.
In your follow-up sessions, your progress will be reviewed and the plan adjusted as needed to ensure you continue moving towards full recovery and optimal function.
What is Chiropractic Treatment?
Chiropractic care is a natural, hands-on approach to supporting spinal health and overall body function. It focuses on identifying and treating issues in the spine, nerves, joints, and muscles. Using precise, gentle techniques, chiropractors help restore proper movement and balance to areas of the spine that have become restricted or misaligned. Alongside spinal adjustments, soft tissue and muscle therapies are used to ease tension, reduce postural strain, and address the effects of everyday wear and tear—helping your body move and feel its best.
Will the treatment hurt
Chiropractic care is generally gentle and painless. If an area happens to be sore or inflamed, your chiropractor will adjust the treatment to keep you comfortable. You might hear a clicking or popping sound during an adjustment—this is simply your joints releasing pressure, much like opening a bottle of fizzy water. Some people notice mild temporary effects afterward, such as stiffness, tenderness, or tiredness for a day or so, while others feel pleasantly energized. If you ever feel uncertain or uneasy during or after your session, be sure to let your chiropractor know—they’re there to help you feel at ease every step of the way.
How do I know if I need chiropractic care?
Many people first seek chiropractic help when pain becomes noticeable, but identifying an issue early can often mean shorter treatment and avoiding discomfort altogether. Subtle signs such as mild stiffness, twinges, tingling sensations, headaches, slouched posture, or an uneven stride can suggest that something isn’t quite right with the spine. Ideally, everyone would have their back checked once a year—like giving your spine its own MOT—to spot and address small issues before they have the chance to develop into something more serious.

ORIT EDWARDS
Chiropractor
As a teenager, I suffered from pain and locking in my jaw and was consulting an Ear, Nose & Throat specialist who suggested surgery to reconstruct this joint. However, part of me felt that this action was too radical for my problem so I decided to seek the advice of a chiropractor. After some treatments with a chiropractor my problem became manageable and as a result I decided I would like to become a chiropractor in order to help other people with pain and dysfunction. I qualified as a chiropractor from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic and was very lucky to meet Gary Edwards, now my husband, on my degree course. My greatest interest is working with the elderly and taking care of women during and after pregnancy. I am using a variety of chiropractic techniques tailored to the patients’ needs and preference. Working with people, listening to their concerns and helping with difficulties of daily living is my passion. I look forward to meeting you, and will do my best to help improve your quality of life.
Carlota Infante
Chiropractor
My Journey Originally from Spain, my journey to becoming a Chiropractor was shaped by a lifelong passion for helping others. As a child, I often cared for my sister, who suffered from debilitating migraines. I would gently massage her scalp until she found relief. Those moments instilled in me a deep purpose to help others overcome pain and lead healthy lives. Qualifying from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic was a milestone in my journey dedicated to healing and wellness. My approach is holistic and suitable for all ages, focusing on treating the whole body rather than just symptoms. The goal is simple: to help people live more fulfilled lives by unlocking their full potential through physical and emotional well-being. Beyond the Clinic In my spare time, I enjoy staying active with exercises like table tennis and beach tennis – yes, even in the UK! I also love spending quality time with friends and family. Travelling and exploring new places inspire me, and I make it a point to learn something new every day.
I look forward to meeting you and help you reach your optimal health. I am registered with the British Chiropractic Association and a member of General Chiropractic Council

Jean Luc Lafitte
Chiropractor
Hi my Jean Luc Lafitte and I been involved in healthcare for over twenty-seven years and believes that good health is the cornerstone for a good life.
I started out as an auxiliary nurse and it was whilst working in this capacity at the famous Queen Victoria Hospital that I decided to train as a Doctor of Chiropractic. This was the start of my love for complimentary therapy and since then I have been dedicated to combining my expertise of Chiropractic and Nutrition when treating patients. I believes that in order to attain perfect health we need to find a balance between the physical, the chemical, and the emotional.
As well as treating adults and children, I encourages the whole family to have a check up four times a year, this is because I believes in treating the cause and not the symptoms.
I am happy to talk through your health care concerns with you on the phone before you decide on a course of treatment, or alternatively if you are ready to have treatment, call us and ask to book in with me today

Plantar Fasciitis treatment, 6 sessions. Gary was amazing, he explained everything really well, both what he was doing during the treatments and what exercises I needed to do at home. I have struggled with plantar fasciitis for 18 months and it feels so much better, following my 6 sessions, I am back walking again several times a week, which is so exciting as I have really missed this. Both my dogs and I say “thank you”.
